Course Description
The course provides students with an in-depth understanding of the demographic patterns, determinants, and consequences of fertility and mortality. Through theoretical discussions, case studies, and quantitative analysis, this course aims to develop students' knowledge and analytical skills in examining the social, economic, and cultural factors that influence fertility rates and mortality rates. Students will explore the implications of these demographic patterns on population dynamics, health, social welfare, and policy formulation.
