The aim of this course is the development of oral interaction and conversation skills in Portuguese. The students will be asked to perform tasks such as role plays, dialogues, oral presentations and comment on small videos and pictures.

By the end of the course, the students will be able to 1. Relate a narrative or description as a linear sequence of points; 2. Talk about real or imagined events; 3. Interact with ease in stuctured situations and short conversations; 4. Give a prepared presentation on a familiar topic; 5. Comment on the main points of broadcast news about familiar subjects; 6. Express personal opinions and exchange information on topics that are familiar, of personal interest or related to everyday life.
