This course aims to introduce the statistical methods that have been extensively applied in data science. The content of the course consists of statistical models, deep neural networks, stochastic algorithms, and so on.

CILO-1: Use statistical methods that have been extensively applied in data science. CILO-2: Use some learnt methods to solve real world application problems. CILO-3: Analyze some basic statistical methods and some stochastic algorithms.
