This course offers unique practical insights into the legal system through courtroom observation. Students witness real-life proceedings, understanding courtroom dynamics, legal advocacy, and the application of legal principles. They analyse various court hearings (civil, criminal, and appellate), identify roles, observe legal arguments, evidence examination, and decision-making. Through reflection, analysis, and evaluation, students critically assess legal concepts, argument effectiveness, and courtroom observations.

CILO-1: Students will be able to actively engage in firsthand courtroom observation, analyzing legal proceedings, and synthesizing key concepts. CILO-2: Students will be able to observe and analyze the interactions among legal professionals, understanding the presentation and scrutiny of evidence, and evaluating how courtroom procedures influence case outcomes. CILO-3: Students will be able to analyze legal arguments and evidence presentation across different court cases. CILO-4: Students will be able to assess the factors influencing judicial decisions and understand the reasoning behind judgments.
