Course Description
Legal ethics refers to the ethical norms governing legal professions. This course will introduce students to the body of legal and moral norms and doctrines regulating legal practice in different settings. Its aim is to clearly and vibrantly explain the key topics of professional ethics and issues facing those who are doing legal work, so that they know how to be a good legal professional.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Students will be able to elaborate the moral or ethical norms that they will have to follow in their future legal practice.
CILO-2: Students will be able to explain the legal obligations and professional standards of legal professionals, and the ethical expectations of them, and thereby know how to be a morally qualified or good legal professional.
CILO-3: Students will be able to explain the social responsibility and moral duties of legal professionals.
