Course Description
The course addresses the establishment, organization and operations of companies In China. It provides students with basic notions and fundamental principles and general rules of corporate entities, delivers the ideas how the law seeks to strike a balance between the interests of various stakeholders and the interests within and outside the company including directors, managers, shareholders, creditors, and the society.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Students will be able to identify the basic rules and fundamental principles of establishment, organization and operation of companies.
CILO-2: Students will be able to describe relations between corporations, corporate officers, shareholders and creditors and their relationship with the society.
CILO-3: Students will be able to elaborate the revisions of the company law to master the development of company law and future trends.
CILO-4: Students will be able to solve practical legal problems through systematic legal analysis of a wide range of case studies.
