Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: This annual subject aims to let students to get familiar with Criminal Law particularities, namely its main principles and distinction with other subjects. Students will be able to know when law is applicable and which law shall be applicable as well when dealing with issues related to law in space and time. On the other hand, students will learn all elements that compose a crime, such as the so-called action, type, including objective and subjective aspects of the latter, illicit, fault and punishment. Apart from consummate crime, students are also taught about crime attempt. Other important topics covered are those related to omission and comparticipation. The main goal of this course is to let students know in detail when are they facing a crime in both a dogmatic and a practical point of view.
