This course will focus on the theories of trust law, aiming at enabling students to elaborate the whole process of trusts from establishment to termination. The course mainly includes the following topics: Establishment of Trust; Property of Trusts; Parties to the Trust and Public trust.

CILO-1: Students will be able to describe the basic knowledge and principles of the trust system. CILO-2: Students will be able to explain the legal theory involved in the establishment, operation and termination of trusts. CILO-3: Students will be able to use trust legal knowledge to solve trust legal disputes. CILO-4: Students will be able to propose new ideas for the development of trust law in Greater Bay Area.
