This course is the continuation of Practical Japanese V and focuses on listening comprehension and use of conversational Japanese. The course emphasizes oral communication skills. Students will be provided different tasks focused on practical daily communication in order to help build confidence in speaking Japanese.

CILO-1: Students will be able to keep up with an animated discussion, identifying accurately arguments supporting and opposing points of view. CILO-2: Students will be able to understand documentaries, live interviews, talk shows, plays and the majority of films in standard dialect. CILO-3: Students will be able to give clear, detailed descriptions on a wide range of subjects related to their field of interest. CILO-4: Students will be able to express their ideas and opinions with precision.
