Course Description
The graduation project is an essential component of the degree. In this course, students work independently on a pharmaceutical related research project under the supervision of an academic faculty member. Students are responsible for collecting, interpreting data and drawing conclusion of the research findings in a structured written scientific report. They are required to present the findings of the project to the evaluation committee in a formal oral presentation at the end of the second semester.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Identify key research questions related to pharmaceutical sciences and develop corresponding hypotheses.
CILO-2: Operate and maintain basic software and equipment to conduct guided research.
CILO-3: Adhere to good laboratory practices and biosafety concerns.
CILO-4: Apply theoretical knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences in addressing a scientific problem.
CILO-5: Interpret and organize research outcomes, and propose solutions to address research challenges.
CILO-6: Prepare a comprehensive written research proposal that addresses key research questions, outlines the proposed methodologies, and presents the findings of the pharmaceutical sciences research in a structured scientific report.
CILO-7: Effectively communicate and assess research objectives, methodologies, and outcomes of the pharmaceutical sciences research through oral presentations.
