Course Description
This course intends to provide an internship opportunity to the students to practise and apply their classroom knowledge to a standard work environment where learning experiences are not available in a classroom setting. The internship allows the students to acquire entry-level and career-related work experience and workplace competence, and provides an excellent opportunity for the students to explore the career fields. The placements of the internship are arranged to take place in the areas of pharmaceutical sciences, and the internship partners include eligible laboratories, manufacturing plants, or other institutes in pharmaceutical industries.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Describe the nature and function of the institute in which the internship activity takes place.
CILO-2: Adapt to the professional standards, expectations, and work culture of the pharmaceutical sector.
CILO-3: Recognize the different categories of pharmaceutical tools, technologies, and methodologies used in the workplace.
CILO-4: Integrate classroom pharmaceutical knowledge into tactics to manage real-world problems in a standard work environment.
