This course is designed for individual professor to meet specific needs of students for their own research projects. Topics are usually within the three pillar fields set up in the History Department, namely: Chinese history, Macao history, and history of East-West interactions.

CILO-1: Engage deeply with the relevant literature. CILO-2: Identify the problems or weakness in certain field and pick up an appropriate research topics. CILO-3: Locate research materials and critically discuss its value and question in a broad context. CILO-4: Explain and apply academic instructions and guideline for students during their research process.
