Course Description
This is an introductory course to familiarize the students with the inception of constitutional movements and the specific goals of having a constitution on the one hand and constitutional theories and practices on the other. The contents and classifications will be briefly surveyed. Of pivotal importance is the mechanisms of its working in a society; therefore, constitutional tribunals and its like, such as the ordinary reviewing courts, will be closely examined.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Identify key points of the theory of administrative law and application of administrative law to real related issues in Macao, Hong Kong and mainland China.
CILO-2: Discuss key points for understanding of and/or facility in the historical development of law and legal institutions.
CILO-3: Apply the theoretical concepts from this course and doctrinal analysis, including close reading of cases and precedents to explain the public policy and public administration in Macao, Hong Kong, and Mainland China.
