Course Description
This course is devoted to study on mathematical modeling of robots, kinematics and dynamics of robots, and motion planning and control. The subjects cover rigid motions, homogeneous transformations, forward and inverse kinematics, velocity kinematics, path and trajectory planning, dynamics, motion control, and case studies, etc.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Apply advanced knowledge of robotics kinematics and dynamics in specific engineering applications.
CILO-2: Identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems using robotics knowledge.
CILO-3: Use the computer/IT tools such as Matlab software relevant to robotics kinematics and dynamics along with an understanding of their processes.
