Course Description
This course devoted to study on interrelationships among structure, properties, processing and performance of materials. The subjects of metallurgy, ceramics, polymers, composites, surface modification and coatings with emphasis on mechanical, chemical and tribological properties, etc. and case studies.

CILO-1: Apply advanced knowledge of materials science in engineering applications.
CILO-2: Design and conduct experiments using materials charaterization techniques, as well as to analyze and interpret data.
CILO-3: Identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems.

CILO-5: Use the techniques, skills, and modern materials testing and characterization instruments for materials science.
