Course Description
This is an advanced course regarding therotical analysis and numerical methods for complex problems related to fluid flow dynamics such as multi-component and multi-phase flows, transport in porous mediums, mesoscale computational methods, topology optimized flow structure designs, and so on.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Apply advanced knowledge of mathematics, physics, and numerical schemes appropriate to multi-disciplinary electromechanical engineering.
CILO-2: Couple the multi-disciplinary physics and numerical models involving topology, porous structures, multi-phase fluid flow, heat transfer with phase changes, multi-component chemical reactions, and electric potential transport for visualized solutions of complex problems in electromechanical engineering.
CILO-3: Model the real system with mathematical and physical models.
CILO-4: Solve the transient coupled fields with computational methods.
