Course Description
This course is an extension of the undergraduate thermodynamics. It is suitable for students who pursuit research in energy system related research.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Explain the most prominent concepts for single phase substance and mixtures in thermodynamics and its engineering applications.
CILO-2: Apply mathematics to formulate various thermodynamic properties relations, single phase, two phase and compressible flow phenomenon.
CILO-3: Create special projects in advanced topics for students, such that they can conduct literature reviews, surveys, communicate and to share their findings.
CILO-4: Apply modern engineering tools to formulate/simulate thermodynamic systems and analyse the results.
