Course Description
This course provides an overview of theories, research, and practice on educational diagnosis and intervention, with an emphasis on individuals from early childhood to adolescence. The goal of this course is for students to understand the theories, implement the educational diagnosis, and give consultation to teachers for preventing academic, emotional, behavioral, and social problems among the students in primary and secondary schools. Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Use theories and research to identify reasons for student learning problems.
CILO-2: Provide examples of how to prevent and improve learning, social, and behavioural problems among children and adolescents.
CILO-3: Articulate the proper design and procedure for effective interventions that promote students' learning and development.
