This course explicates significance, theories and skills of language arts, in order to strengthen students’ understanding of language arts, to help them grasp techniques of language expression, to enhance their ability for language communication, and to heighten teaching effects.

CILO-1: Contrast different language arts theories. CILO-2: Apply techniques of language expression while teaching language arts lessons. CILO-3: Apply oratory and public speaking skills when delivering language arts lessons. CILO-4: Explain why the teaching of speech and debate is important for language arts instruction.
