Based on Mathematics learning and teaching theories and research findings, the course aims to help student teachers study the basic knowledge of the subject, teaching and learning strategies, methods of assessment and the application of technology in Mathematics teaching and learning. CILO-1: Illustrate understanding of theories related to mathematics teaching and learning. CILO-2: Evaluate the learning of mathematics and the teaching of mathematics. CILO-3: Design mathematics lessons that are theory driven. CILO-4: Design mathematics lessons that integrate advanced technology and remedial instruction.
