Course Description
This course will present objectives, features, and commonly-used strategies of qualitative, quantitative and mixed-method research for Year-four undergraduate students in Chinese Education. This course aims to build students’ awareness and ability to understand, interpret, and apply different research approaches in authentic educational contexts and prepare them for conducting empirical studies at a later stage. At the same time, students are expected to understand and apply pedagogy of Chinese education through conducting action research.
