Course Description
This course will present a broad overview of classroom management, including its theoretical basis, authentic practice, and practical implication, for Year-three undergraduate students. The course aims to enhance students’ ability to design different approaches and establish relevant rules and procedures for the effective classroom management system. At the same time, how to manage individual student behaviour is one essential parts of this course. The course will help students to develop their own strategies to build an inclusive, productive and well-structured learning environment.

CILO-1: Discuss and critique classroom management cases and practices
CILO-2: Analyse the complexities of classroom ecology related to effective teaching and learning
CILO-3: Identify effective strategies in relation to classroom management issues
CILO-4: Develop positive interpersonal relationships between teachers and learners through the classroom communication
CILO-5: Design valid and reliable approaches to support students with achievement, behavioural, or social difficulties
