This course is primarily concerned with the effective use of web technology in the educational context. The use of Web 2.0 tools such as Blog, Wikimedia, and social networking tools to facilitate teaching, learning and student administration will be covered. It also acquaints learners with the knowledge and skills in planning and managing IT applications in schools.

CILO-1: Learners will understand the latest web technology in schools. CILO-2: Learners can apply contemporary web technology in an educational context. CILO-3: Learners can select suitable web based learning and administrative tools/platforms for the school environment.
