Course Description
This course delves deeper into advanced concepts of digital signal processing, building on foundational principles. Topics include general theorems and techniques in discrete-time signal processing, as well as the design and implementation of discrete-time systems. Emphasis is placed on practical applications through hands-on projects utilizing state-of-the-art simulation tools, fostering innovative solutions to real-world scenarios. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the skills to tackle complex signal processing challenges across various fields.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Apply fundamental theorems to analyze discrete-time signals and systems both in time-domain and frequency-domain.
CILO-2: Identify, formulate and solve discrete-time signal processing problems using z-transform, Fourier transform and multirate signal processing techniques.
CILO-3: Design and construct digital signal processing system that meet desired specifications within realistic constraints.
CILO-4: Design and simulate discrete-time systems using state-of-the-art simulation tools .
