Course Description
This course introduces a range of renewable technologies, including biomass, wind and solar, with a focus on their principles, applications, and integration into existing energy systems. It also covers energy conversion and storage technologies, such as pumped hydro, batteries, and hydrogen.
Intended Learning Outcomes
CILO-1: Analyze and evaluate the principles, applications, and limitations of various renewable energy technologies, including solar, wind, hydro, and bioenergy systems.
CILO-2: Design and optimize renewable energy systems by integrating technical, economic, and environmental considerations to address real-world energy challenges.
CILO-3: Utilize software or computer programming to investigate the design and simulation of different types of renewable energy technologies.
