Members of the staff will arrange special courses on advanced topics on hazard prevention and mitigation in coastal cities to introduce principles and techniques of hazard alleviation to improve urban safety for properly qualified graduate students.

CILO-1: Describe, compare, and discuss the advanced principles of hazard prevention and mitigation to keep urban safe. CILO-2: Recognize the contemporary research and development in hazard alleviation in coastal cities. CILO-3: Apply the principles and techniques of hazard alleviation to analyze scientific and engineering problems related to urban safety.
