Course Description
This course provides a comprehensive exploration of the fundamentals and advanced techniques in Computer Communications and Networks. Explore essential concepts such as statistical multiplexing and packet/circuit switching, packet delay/loss model in Internet, layered protocol structure of computer networks, medium access control protocols, LAN and WLAN, principle of reliable data transfer and pipelining, routing algorithms, IPv4/IPv6 protocols, software define networking, transportation layer control protocols, congestion analysis and congestion control, concepts of quality of services, representative applications of computer communications and networks, wireless and mobile networks.
