Any specialized topic in Applied Physics and Materials Engineering chosen by the staff member who has experience in that particular field, but the topic is not covered by the other postgraduate courses in the PhD Programme.

CILO-1: Students will be able to describe the latest research progress in fields of solar energy harvesting, quantum physics, sensors and devices, biophysics and biomaterials, etc.. CILO-2: Students will be able to explain the working mechanism and concepts of specialized technologies in solar energy harvesting, quantum physics, sensors, devices, and batteries. CILO-3: Students will be able to apply the knowledge of solar energy harvesting, quantum physics, biophysics and biomaterials, in their research work.
