This course focuses on the application of IT, digital technology and new media in language education. The students are introduced to current software, mobile applications and classroom facilities (e.g. smartboards) and they explore the principles used in integrating new technology into teaching and learning inside and outside the classroom.

CILO-1: Evaluate the role of IT in language teaching critically. CILO-2: Express the advantages and disadvantages of using IT in L2 learning. CILO-3: Critique and design activities that aim to use IT productively in the L2 classroom.
